Gary Burlison age, 56 of Opp passed away December 21, 2022. He was born February 14, 1966 in Florala the son of Roy Burlison and Carrie Lou Carpenter Burlison. Gary was an avid outdoorsman, spending countless hours in the woods and dirt roads four wheeling and hunting with his late wife Tammy. Gary loved to barter, trading and exchanging everything without using money. The stories are endless of the trades he would negotiate. Nothing was more important to Gary as family. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones who celebrate the fact that he is at Peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by wife, Tammy Burlison; father, Roy Burlison; mother, Carrie Lou Carpenter Burlison, sister, Shirley Scheffer; nephew, Joshua Tate.

He is survived by aunts, Faye Thomas, Audie Norris and Eddie Nowlan, sister, Gayle Tate and husband Stephen and Susan Hall and husband Randy, brother, Brady Burlison and wife Brandi, a cousin who was like a brother, Joey Thomas, his beloved dog, Tucker. He is also survived by an abundance of extended loved ones including numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Gary Burlison will be 2PM Saturday December 31, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home with Greg Thomas officiating. Visitation will be 1hour before services.
