Gade Mims age 69, passed away February 12, 2022. He was born January 23, 1953 in Opp the son of Leon Mims and Maxine Gray.

Gade served his country the U.S. Navy where he graded out in the top 10 in the nation in nuclear physics. Besides being gifted academically he enjoyed playing the guitar. Often times in the late afternoon you could find him beside his burn pile. Gade is dearly missed by his loved ones. He was preceded in death by father, Leon Mims.

He is survived by mother, Maxine Gray Hagler, brothers, Rodger Mims and wife Elizabeth, Tony Mims and wife Monette and Harold Hagler and wife Vivian.

Funeral services for Gade Mims will be 2PM Wednesday February 16, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Adam Chancey and Greg Summerlin officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
