Obituary

Frankie Joe Pelham, age 80, passed away August, 28th 2021. She was the daughter of Ashton and Cleo Greer. Frankie was born in Pennington Gap, Virginia. Soon after her birth the family relocated to Florala, AL. While growing up in Florala, Frankie encountered many close friends and met her late husband Jimmie Pelham. Frankie attended LBWCC and obtained her associates degree while being the most active stay at home mom. Frankie enjoyed traveling the world with her late husband, doing air craft work and raising her five biggest blessings. Frankie enjoyed being a mom most, but had several different hobbies such as, working in her rose gardens, working in her ceramic shop and cooking all of her famous recipes. Frankie was one of the best cooks and all of her recipes will dearly be missed. Frankie loved her family and the holidays were so special to her. She loved cooking all of her cakes at Christmas. She was known for her strawberry shortcake, pea pickin' cake and banana pudding. She loved a good time, having a house full of her family and friends, having her puppy prissy at her side, watching Alabama Football and giving when she didn't have it to give. Frankie fought the good fight, finished the race and kept the faith.

Frankie will be loved and missed.

Frankie was preceded in death by her husband Jimmie Pelham, her son Frank Pelham, granddaughter Chasidy Franklin, father and mother Ashton and Cleo Greer, sisters Jimmie Lou Bowman, Mary Goth, Brothers Henry and Charlie Greer.
