Franklin (Frank) Dewayne Burlison, 68, a life-long Paxton resident, passed away suddenly August 14, 2021 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.

Frank was born in Florala, AL on December 14, 1952 to Ed and Mildred Burlison. Frank graduated from Laurel Hill School . He married his wife Renee on February 11, 1978.  He worked for the City of Paxton as the utility supervisor for over 30 years. He retired in 2017and then returned on a part time basis. Frank was an avid outdoorsman, he loved spending time at his family farm, hunting and fishing with his two sons and grandchildren. He enjoyed building furniture and any type of woodwork.

Frank is survived by his wife, Renee Burlison; two sons, Jeff Burlison of Opp, AL, and Dustin Burlison and wife Camile of DeFuniak Springs, FL; sisters, Delores Cardin and husband Ray of Crawfordville, FL and Diane Rodenberry of Cantonment, FL; five grandchildren, Austin Burlison, Tanner Burlison, Samuel Burlison, Brantley Burlison, and Jewel Burlison; and one great grandchild, Carsynn Burlison; numerous nieces and nephews.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Mildred Burlison; brothers, David, Mickey, Clayton, and Doug Burlison.

Funeral Services will be 11AM Wednesday August 18, 2021 at Evans Funeral Home  with Pastor Ronald Sexton officiating. A time of visitation will be 1hour before services. Internment will be in Paxton Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Austin Burlison, Tanner Burlison, Robert Cardin, Stance Burlison, Tim Mckenzie, and Adam Bryant.
