Frances Ellen Renfroe, age 84, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2026. She was born on October 24, 1941, in Chipley, Florida, the daughter of John Elam and Alberta Weeks Elam.

Frances was a hardworking and humble woman whose life reflected kindness, dedication, and love for her family. For many years, she worked in the textile industry in Florala, where she was admired for her strong work ethic and dependable spirit. The textile mills were an important part of life in our community, and Frances faithfully devoted herself to that good, honest work to help provide for and support her family through the years.

More than anything, Frances was special to those who knew and loved her. She was a kindhearted mother who quietly sacrificed for her children, Danny and Dwayne, always putting family first. Her gentle nature, humility, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Frances Ellen Renfroe leaves behind a legacy of hard work, faithfulness, and love that will continue through her family for generations to come.

Graveside services for Frances Ellen Renfroe will be 3PM Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Paxton Cemetery.
