Ernestine Parmer age 79, of Laurel Hill passed away September 19, 2022. She was born September 1, 1943 in Lake Wales, FL the daughter of Jim Smith and Annie Mae Murray Smith. Ernestine enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and doing cross word puzzles. Her biggest legacy however, was the immeasurable mark she left on her family. Known to them as Ernestine, Mom and Granny she will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. She was preceded in death by grandson, Forrest Parmer; father, Jim Smith; mother, Annie Mae Murry Smith; sisters, Elaine Smith and Geraldine Smith.

She is survived by husband of 62 years, Millard Parmer, sons, Michael Parmer, Danny Parmer and wife Nancy, Gregory Parmer and David Parmer, brother, James Smith, sister, Evelyn Campell and husband Hollis, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ernestine Parmer will be 11 AM Friday September 23, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home with Johnny White officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Children's Home Cemetery.
