Edna (Monkie Joe) Kilcrease age 60, of Florala passed away Monday May 15, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 8, 1963 in Kentucky the daughter of James Adkins and Betty Endicott Adkins. She enjoyed cooking, canning, yard sales and saving coupons. She had a loving and caring heart never turning anyone away especially children. She helped turn lives around and she always had that special smile. Edna was a member of Damacus Baptist Church. Her faith in Jesus Christ sustained her as she bravely fought many health issues. She fought the good fight. She kept the faith. She finished the race. She was preceded in death by husband, David Davis; father, James Adkins; mother, Betty Endicott Adkins; sister, Tina Davis.

She is survived by husband, Jeffery Kilcrease, sons, Jamie Joe Davis and wife Kellie and Paul Davis and wife Megan, daughters, LeAnn Davis and wife Shannon and Davana Crowder and husband Lee, sister, Ann Moore, brothers, Buddy, Willie and Roger Adkins, grandchildren, Russell, Tyler, Lane, Shelby, David and Tina. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Bobbie Jean.

Funeral services for Edna (Monkie Joe) Kilcrease will be 10AM May 26, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home with Lee Crowder officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Kentucky.
