Edna Ruth Howell age 71, of Holt, FL passed away Monday November 22, 2021. Better know as Maw Maw Ruth to her grandchildren, Aunt Ruthie to all her nieces and nephews. Maw Maw was the 4th child of Lillace Mae Peterson and Ottis Willard Taylor. She had two sisters who gained their wings before her. (Carolyn Lolley and Bobbie Jo Taylor) She still has one brother and sister still present with us today. (Mike Powell and Glenda Faye Taylor) She leaves behind her oldest son and daughter in law. (Steve and Glenda Stokes) Their three children, (Stevie, Amanda and Devon Stokes) Her only daughter and son in law, (Angel and Daryl Bess). Their three children, (Dustin and Nicholas Peters and daughter Hannah Daryl Bess). Last but not least her youngest son and daughter in law, (John and Melissa Windham) and their 4 children, (Samuel, Hayley, Levi and Elias-James Windham). She also leaves behind her three great grandchildren, (Blakelyn Jayde Stokes, Colton Lee Johnson, and Naomi Ruth Peters) and another great grandson will make its arrival around Christmas. She was preceded in death by husband, Wayman Lamar Howell; father, Ottis Taylor; mother, Lillace Mae Peterson; sisters, Carolyn Lolley and Bobbie Jo Taylor.

Graveside services for Ruth Howell will be 4PM Saturday November 27, 2021 at Paxton Cemetery.
