Doris Nell Goodwin age 71, passed away January 19, 2020. She was born June 6, 1948 in DeFuniak Springs to Carl Alford and Evelyn Schofield Alford. Doris was an incredible mother, grandmother, great grandmother and teacher for her entire family. She had a wonderful scene of humor and never met a stranger only new best friends. Doris's faith in Jesus Christ sustained her as she bravely fought many health issues. She fought the good fight. She finished the race. She kept the faith. She was preceded in death by daughter, Haley Mooney; father, Carl Alford; mother, Evelyn Schofield Alford; brother, Donnie Alford.

She is survived by son, Nathan Manning and wife Calista, grandchildren, Hunter and Asia Brooks and Kassie Townsend and 11 great grandchildren.

Services for Doris Nell Goodwin will be 1PM Thursday January 23, 2020 at Evans Funeral Home with Gary Miller and Billy Pickron officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
