Donald Rothgeb, age 86 of Florala passed away November 28, 2021. Donald joined the U.S. Army when he graduated high school and proudly served his country for over 30 years. He was a hard working man that provided for his family. Donald had a love for life and a love for getting things done. He was an incredible man, husband, father, grand and great grandfather, and teacher for his entire family. His faith in Jesus Christ sustained him as he bravely fought many health issues. He fought the good fight. he kept the faith. He finished the race. He was preceded in death by wife, Kay Rothgeb; son, Walter Rothgeb; daughters, Amanda Reese Mitchell and Candase Armstrong; granddaughter, Dianna Kay Rothgeb.

He is survived by daughters, Melyndia Gillman and husband Ventry and Donna Rothgeb, numerous grand and great grandchildren. He loved being their "PaPaw".

Services for Donald Rothgeb with military honors will be 4PM Thursday December 2, 2021 with John Lovelady officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
