Dolores Thomas Tunnage age 70, passed away March 1, 2023. She was born October 5, 1952 in Paxton Florida the daughter of John R Thomas and Eva Simmons Thomas.  Dolores was a commercial truck driver for over 30 years. Her biggest legacy however, was the immeasurable mark she left on her family. Known to them as Dolores, Rama and Woose she will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. She was preceded in death by husbands, Waylon Coone and Robert Tunnage, father, John Rufus Thomas; mother, Eva Simmons Thomas; brothers, Jimmie Ray Thomas, Johnnie Roy Thomas and Hayward Thomas.

She is survived by brother, Harold Thomas and wife Brenda, sister-in-law, Shirley Garvin and husband Lonnie, nieces, Elizabeth Cassady and husband Bo, Camille Campbell and husband David, Ashley Thomas and husband Tim, Eva Ellis and husband John, Samantha Garvin, Mahaley Thomas, Lauren Lowry and husband Brieson, nephews, Johnnie Thomas Jr, Jimmie Thomas Jr and wife Paula. Christopher Thomas, Phillip Thomas. She is also survived by numerous grand and great grandnieces, grand and great grandnephews and cousins.

Funeral services for Dolores Thomas Tunnage will be 2PM Friday March 3, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Paxton Cemetery.
