Dewayne Whittington, age 70 passed away May 2, 2023. He was born November 12, 1952 in Florala the son of George Whittington and Francis Perkins Whittington. Dewayne worked in the construction industry with his father most of his life. He was loved by so many because he gave love to so many. He will be dearly missed by his love ones  who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by wife, Dollie Mancil Whittington; father, George Whittington; mother, Francis Perkins Whittington.

He is survived by stepson, David Holloway. He is also survived by an abundance of extended loved ones including numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1PM Friday May 5, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be at Clear Springs Cemetery.
