With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Debra Harrison Robertson. Debra was born March 25, 1962, in Paxton, the daughter of Roy Harrison and Vassie Collinsworth Harrison. She passed away on May 8, 2026.

Debra worked as a nurse and was well respected in her field by both her co-workers and the many people she cared for throughout the years. She had a compassionate spirit and a servant's heart that showed in the way she treated others. Caring for people was not simply her profession it was part of who she was.

She enjoyed crocheting and cooking, and one of her greatest cooking accomplishments was being able to duplicate her mother's famous 10-layer chocolate cake. Debra was so proud of that moment, and it became a treasured memory for her and her family.

Debra had a special place in her heart as a caregiver. In her mother's latter years, she lovingly cared for her with kindness, grace, and devotion, always making sure her mother's needs were met. Her family meant everything to her. She deeply loved her sons and grandchildren, and she especially cherished the name "GiGi," a title that brought her great joy.

Debra was preceded in death by her father and mother, Roy and Vassie Harrison, and by her brother, Dennis Harrison.

She is survived by her sons, David Robertson (Jessica) and Donovan Robertson (Sara); her brother, Doyle Harrison (Melissa); along with a host of extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

A celebration of life service for Debra Harrison Robertson will be announced by Evans Funeral Home.
