Danette Lewis age 66, formally of Florala passed away January 1, 2023. She was born October 15, 1956 the daughter of Lelon Norris and Modean McCormick Norris. Danette worked as a nurse for many years until ill health forced her retirement. She had a passion for family genealogy. Danette loved to research her family history and discover their stories and enjoyed sharing that with family and friends.  She was preceded in death by father, Lelon Norris; mother, Modean McCormick Norris; brother, Hayward Norris.

She is survived by sister, Angela Bock. She is also survived by abundance of extended love ones including numerous nieces and a nephew.

Funeral services for Danette Lewis will be 11AM Saturday January 7, 2023 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church with Billy Pickron officiating.
