Cubidean Boyington, of Florala, passed away Monday morning June 6, after a second cancer diagnosis . Cubidean was 74 years old, born July 15, 1947,  to Bluford and Bessie Smith of Florala. She was a faithful member of Westside Baptist Church and is now at peace and in the comfort of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Cubidean was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her grandchildren brought her so much joy and she spent every moment she could with them. Cubidean was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Bobbie Jean Scott and brothers, Jerry and Junior Smith.

She is survived by her husband, William (Jiggs) Boyington, son, Preston Boyington and granddaughter, Hannah Boyington, daughter, Misty Johnson, son in law, Kenny Johnson, grandson, Kegan Johnson, grandson, Jaden Johnson great granddaughter, Gracelynn Johnson, sister, Betty Deurloo and brother, James Smith.

Funeral services for Cubidean Boyington will be 11AM Thursday June 9, 2022 at Evans Funeral Home with James Pickron officiating. Visitation will be 6-8PM Wednesday. Interment will be at Greewood Cemetery.
