Clarice Rushing, age 88, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and quiet strength.
She was born on May 7, 1937, in Gaskin, Florida, to the late Belvin Ganiey and Lalar Adkison Ganiey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Sindy Norris.
Clarice dedicated many years of faithful service working in civil service, where she was known for her strong work ethic, her dependability, and her kind spirit. She was always on time, always willing to lend a helping hand, and was a true friend to those she worked alongside.

She also found great joy in cooking, especially for her family. Her dressing and egg custard were cherished staples at family gathering, meals made not just with skill, but with deep love. To Clarice, nothing mattered more than her family, and she expressed that love in countless quiet, meaningful ways.
