Charles Sasser Jr age 77 passed away January 29, 2021. He was born on December 15, 1943 in Opp to Charlie Sasser and Mable Powell Sasser. Charles worked as a manager for many years in the grocery industry. He enjoyed NASCAR and his favorite driver Dale Earnhardt. He ate the same breakfast every morning, cheese grits and every afternoon watched Westerns. Often times you could find him sitting on his back porch enjoying the view. He is dearly missed by his love ones who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by father, Charlie Sasser.

He is survived by mother, Mable Dean Brooks, son, Charles Randall Sasser, daughters, Rhonda Moses Smeby and Sherry Renee Sasser, grandchildren, Brandi and Clay Sasser, Marcus, Christan, Aaron Moses and Jackson Dykes Sasser, great grandchildren, Elexis Linton, Madison Wood, Payton, Tyler, Easton, Reid, Adley and Marron Moses, he loved being their "Granddaddy". He is also survived by the mother of his children, Shirley Robinson.

Graveside services for Charles Sasser Jr will be 2PM Tuesday February 2, 2021 at Paxton Cemetery with Johnny Holley officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5-7PM at Evans Funeral Home.
