Carol Brockett age 58 passed away January 4, 2021. She was born April 30, 1962 in Cedar Town, Georgia to Richard Ammons and Betty Cole Ammons. Carol worked at the  Pennymart in Lockhart. She enjoyed talking and laughing with her customers. Carol's most prized moments including her family, friends and 17 grandchildren. She enjoyed bonfires, camping, bingo and riding motorcycles. She also enjoyed writing poetry. Carol was preceded in death by father, Richard Ammons; mother, Betty Cole Ammons; grandparents, Bernice and RC Cole; sister, Kathy Gipson.

Carol is survived by sons Andrew Marthis and Herbert Marthis, daughter, Laura Nelson, brothers Richard and Michael Ammons, sister, Virginia Patrick, Heidi Sawyer and Denise Fellene life long friends, 17 grandchildren.

The family will hold a celebration of life service at a later date. It will be posted at Pennymart in Lockhart. In leiu of flowers donations are being accepted at Pennymart.
