Carl O'Neil age 96, of Florala passed away January 19, 2025 at the age of 96. Carl was born September 6, 1928 in Clarkston, WA to Aubrey O'Neal and Lucinda Mathews O'Neal.

He served in the Navy and attended seminary school after his discharge. Carl was an engineer contracted to the government for many years, built houses in Montana, and worked as a safety engineer in a coal mine in Utah.  He lived and worked all over the country.

Carl loved fishing, especially in the mountain lakes in Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, Edna, Eilene and Lucy and a brother, Ralph, Son Carl Jr., grandson, Robert Hamilton, wife Anna O'Neal Kennedy and wife Dorothy O'Neal.

Survivors include daughters, Judy McGee (Tim), Dianna Hardrick (Danny), Lisa O'Neal, daughter-in-law Elaine, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren.

He loved going to church and meeting new people and especially enjoyed the Revelations series taught by Pastor Kevin Holland at Florala Methodist Church.
