Brinda Jones Nix, age 61, of Florala passed away October 1, 2021. She was born August 14, 1959in Florala the daughter of Willard Jones and Evelyn Raybon Jones. Brinda was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Often times in the afternoon you could find Brinda walking her dog Gizmo, around Lake Jackson. She will be dearly missed by her love ones who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by father, Willard Jones; mother, Evelyn Raybon Jones; brother, Johnny Jones; sisters, Saundra Jones and Linda Thomas.

She is survived by sons, Larry Dean Nichols and wife Stephane and Kent Donzell Brooks and wife Kayla, daughter, Evelyn Castle and husband Glenn, brothers, Jimmy, Billy and Danny Jones, sister, Melinda Jones, her beloved dog, Gizmo Jones, numerous, grand and great grandchildren. She is also survived by an abundance of extended love ones including numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service for Brinda Jones Nix will be 2PM Thursday October7, 2021 at Evans Funeral Home with Nathaniel Belcher officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services.
