Blondell Henderson age 93, passed away Thursday afternoon November 7, 2019. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. Blondell lived a life filled with adventure, excitement and triumph. To most, she was known for her green thumb. She could grow almost anything. It was not uncommon to witness her pulling flowers from the side of a road or knocking on a strangers door for a flower she did not already have. Blondell also had a love of fishing. She could often be seen with her oversized hats and eight fishing poles. Blondell was happiest when her home was filled with family, flowers and good food. Often seen donning bright lipstick and her favorite animal prints, her fun-loving personality was effervescent. She loved the Lord and was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Michael and her daughter, Shelia as well many grand and great grandchildren. She has now rejoined her parents, sister, and can Jitterbug with her beloved husband once again.

Funeral services for Blondell Henderson will be 11AM Monday November 11, 2019 at Evans funeral Home with James Pickron officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
