Billy Wayne Bell age 76, of Florala passed away July 14, 2023. He was born November 11, 1946 in Mississippi the son of James Olen Bell and Pauline Homer Bell. Billy Wayne fought many health issues during his life, however he never wavered in his love and devotion to his Lord Jesus Christ. His steadfast reliance on God's strength and compassion allowed him to preserve through very tough times, all while inspiring others to seek the same refuge he found in Christ. He was an incredible husband and teacher for his entire family.  He was preceded in death by father, James Olen Bell; mother, Pauline Bell; brother, Bobby Joe Bell; stepdaughter, Kimberley Jackson.

He is survived by wife, Tammy Jackson Bell, daughter, Crystal Rinkard and husband Steven, granddaughters, Kaley Rickard and Allison Rickard, sister, Wanda Pettit and husband Mike, nieces, Lizzie Bishop and husband James and Cristy Lamb and husband Ronney, nephews, John Pettit and Joey Bell, sisters-in-laws, Maxine Bell and Paula Marie, brothers-in-law, Rickey Jackson and wife Ann and Andy Carley, close friends, Lucy and Benny Hendricks and Henry and Thomas Hendricks. He is also survived by an abundance of extended loved ones including numerous cousins.

Funeral services for Billy Wayne Bell will be 2PM Sunday July 16, 2023 at Evans Funeral Home with Ronnie Sexton and James Bishop officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
