Betty Hayes age 77, of Florala passed away March 26, 2024. She was born September 29, 1946 in Opp the daughter of Clarence Morrow and Clydie Robbins Morrow. Betty enjoyed playing bingo, solitaire and talking to her family and friends on the phone. Betty had a caregiver's heart when family or friends were in need she was always ready to help. Her faith in Jesus Christ sustained her as she bravely fought many health issues. She fought the good fight. She kept the faith. She finished the race. Betty was preceded in death by husband, Joe Fountian; son, Marty Carmon; father, Clarence Morrow; mother, Clydie Robbins; brothers, Clarence and Jasper Morrow, sisters, Marty James and Mary Neil Dewitt.

She is survived by daughters, Samatha Cassady, Pam Jordan (Kendall), Sherrie Fountian and a special niece who was like a daughter, Toyna Crouch, sons, Chris Fountian (Andrea) and Heath Fountian, brother, Joel Morrow, grandchildren Shelby Taylor and Dustin Fountain, great grandchildren, Makalynn Cassady and Adalyiah and Hollan Taylor. She is also survived by an abundance of extended loved ones including numerous grandchildren nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Betty Hayes will be 2PM Friday March 29, 2024 at Evans Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
