Betty Blocker age 73, of Florala passed away June 13, 2025. A woman of warmth, wit, and quiet strength, she filled her days with simple joys that brought her happiness and those around her comfort. Whether she was solving a tricky crossword with a cup of coffee in hand, casting a line into a quite lake, or working on a new crochet project, she approached everything with patience and care. Her garden bloomed under her watchful eye, just as her family and friendships did with love and attention. She enjoyed the casino and the thrill of the "Big Jackpot". Her laughter and generous spirt will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by son, Ronald Owens (Stephanie), grandchildren, Briana Smith (Tyler) and Khasen Owens, brothers, Walter and Don Coon, sister, Jimmie Nell Franklin, great grandchildren, Sophia, Oliva, Brinzleigh and Luke, nieces and nephews, Sheila, Doug, Scotty, Dennis, James, Heather, Sueann, Kenny, Carl, Hunter, Patricia, Tammy, Donny, Theresa, Charles and Kim. She was preceded in death by husband, Jerry Blocker; father, Carl Coon; mother, Arrie Hendrix Coon; brother, Jessie Coon; sisters, Christine Adams and Jean Courtney; niece, Lorisa; nephews, Mike and Frankie.

Funeral services for Betty Blocker will be 11AM June 24, 2025 at Evans Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in North Creek Cemetery.
