Randy Strickland, age 64, of Laurel Hill passed away after a brief illness on August 20, 2021 at North Okaloosa Medical Center. Randy was born  May 9, 1957 the son of Bennie and Marie Strickland. Randy graduated from Laurel Hill High School in 1975 and started working offshore and at the tire shop. He also farmed the family's land with his dad and brother, Timmy. He was also a school bus driver for Laurel Hill schools. Randy was known for helping wherever he was needed and doing whatever was necessary to get his customers back on the road! Through the years, he help many families and never wanted public recognition. Although his ownership of Strickland Tire Company took up a lot of his time, Randy also enjoyed farming, working cows, raising his rat terriers, ice skating, deep sea fishing, hunting and most importantly spending time with family and friends. Randy was perhaps best known for his innate ability to tell the funniest jokes, play the best pranks and share the most amazing stories. To know him was to love him, he will be greatly missed!! Randy was preceded in death by his parents and son, Ben.

Randy is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Celetha, son and daughter-in-law Zeb and Alexis, daughter, Brandy Strickland, grandchildren, Kypton, Cadence, Zaedyn and unborn Emmarie, sister, Sandy Pickren (Don), brother, Timmy Strickland (Carla) (Carle), brother-in-law, Jeff Goolsby (Janie), nephews, Seth , Lane, Tyler, Dakota, Zach and Judd, nieces, Gretchen, Calie and Jenna, numerous great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Randy Strickland will be 10AM Monday August 23, 2021 at Evans Funeral Home with Warren Adams and Mike McVay officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 6-8PM. Interment will be Strickland Hills Cemetery in Laurel Hill.
