Bennie McCormick, age 83, passed away Monday July 26, 2021. He was born October 18, 1937 the son of Bill McCormick and Etta Mae Morris McCormick. Bennie had a love for life and a love for getting things done. He was often found out in the fields working on his tractors and other farm equipment getting fields ready for crops that he cared for. Bennie was a source of knowledge about farming and he shared that with family and friends. In his spare time he enjoyed watching WWE wrestling. He had a wonderful sense of humor and never met a stranger. Bennie was an incredible husband, dad, granddad, great granddaddy and teacher for his entire family. He was preceded in death by wife, Alice McCormick; father, Bill McCormick; mother, Etta Mae Morris McCormick; brother, Buddy McCormick; sisters, Lorene Johnson and Pauline Stanley.

He is survived by sons, Stanley McCormick and Stacy McCormick, granddaughter, Kristen and husband Garrett, great grandchildren, Natalie and Grant Grider.

Funeral services for Bennie McCormick will be 2PM Wednesday July 28, 2021 at Evans Funeral Home with James Pickron officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7PM. Interment will be in Corner Creek Cemetery.
