Barbara Belcher Roberts, age 73, of Florala went home to her savior on Thursday, October 1, 2020. Barbara was born February 5, 1947 in DeFuniak Springs to Emma Lawrence Belcher and Woodrow Belcher. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Aunt Deal Lawrence and grandsons, Brock and Cade Roberts.

Barbara is survived by husband, Johnny Roberts, her children, Ashley Roberts (Cindy), Nerissa Castleberry (Donnie) and Dale Arron Roberts. She's also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A Florala High School graduate, Barbara worked as a city clerk, magistrate, and secretary for 45 years in Lockhart. A life long member of Lockhart Primitive Baptist Church. She loved her God, family, traveling, and being available to friends in need. She was thought of as a second mother by numerous loved ones, Barbara welcomed all with open arms, never met a stranger, and touched a multitude of hearts during her lifetime.

Come celebrate Barbara's life....Funeral services for Barbara Roberts will be 3PM Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Evans Funeral Home with Johnny White, Billy Pickron and her son, Dale Roberts officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
