Barbara Qualls, age 79, of Laurel Hill passed away Sunday May 30, 2021. Barbara worked in the textile industry in Florala for over 40 years. She had a love for life and a love for getting things done. Often times late in the afternoon you could find her swinging on her porch enjoying the sunset or just reminiscing about her family. Barbara enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family especially Sunday dinners. Although constantly busy working, nothing was more important than spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by her loved ones who celebrate the fact that she is at peace with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by husband Hughie Qualls.

She is survived by son, Michael Qualls and wife Betty, daughters, Debbie Locke and husband Randy, Donna Haertelt and husband Robbie and Sonya McArthur, grandchildren David Fowler, Scott Qualls, Matt Qualls, Bucky Locke, great grandchildren, Aspyn, Henley, Daniel, Tucker and George. She loved being their "Nanny and Grandma.

Funeral services for Barbara Qualls will be 11AM Wednesday June 2, 2021 at Evans Funeral Home with Harold Qualls officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday form 5-7PM. Interment will be in the Svea Cemetery.
