Arthur Miller, age 92, of Florala, Alabama, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026. He was born on September 14, 1933, the son of William Miller and Johnnie Hall Miller.

Arthur was preceded in death by his mother and father, Johnnie Hall Miller and William Miller, sister; Mary Miller, Easter Mae Key, R. Lee Caffey, Emma Deshazier, Johnnie Ruth Jackson, brothers; Jack Miller, William Miller, Selma Miller.

He is survived by his sisters; Mamie Ruth Foster of Montgomery, Alabama, Josephine Miller of Ocala Florida, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Arthur spent his life serving others through his work as an auto mechanic. Known throughout the community for his honesty, integrity, and remarkable ability to diagnose and repair just about anything with an engine, Arthur, also worked at Florala Community Hospital, where he was known as "Doc: because he always earned the respect and trust of countless people over the years. He worked many of years as a Environmental Service Aid. Those who knew him will remember his steady nature, gentle spirit, and willingness to help others without seeking recognition.

Most importantly, Arthur's family finds comfort and peace in knowing that he is now safely in the care of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His life was marked by faith, character, and a quiet strength that left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

A celebration of life service for Arthur Miller will be 12PM Saturday May 30, 2026 at Evans Funeral Home, with Elder Fred Belcher officating.
