Audra Mae Gillman age 72, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 6th. Mae was born May 11, 1948 in Opp, AL to John Frank Worrell and Bernice Aplin Worrell. She was preceded by death by father, John Frank and mother, Bernice Worrell; 5 siblings, Thomas Worrell, Maxine Holley, Jewel Dorill, Catherine Cravey, and Hinton Worrell. Mae worked for Covington Industries for over 25 years. She cherished all of her co-workers. Mae had a fun and loving spirit and was a treasure to all who  knew her. She was a outstanding cook and a shoulder to lean on for her family. Mae lived for her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, her 2 favorite names to be called were Nanny and Baby Doll.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Jack Gillman, son. John Hudson of Florala, daughter, Wendy Gautney and husband William of Florala, granddaughters, Emily Carson and  husband Tierre of Florala, Savannah Thompson and husband Josh of Opp, AL, Katelin Slaughter and husband Jeffrey of Andalusia, AL and great granddaughter, Elora Slaughter, grandsons, Sean Grisset and JD Hudson, step-daughter, Joyce Clark of Opp, AL Nancy Parmer of Paxton, FL and stepson, Tommy Gillman of Paxton, FL.

Funeral services for Audra Mae Gillman will be 3PM Sunday January 10, 2021 at Evans Funeral Home with Charlie Leonard and James Pickron officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be in the Paxton Cemetery.
