Anna Adams' Obituary
Anna L Adams, age 89 passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at Carington Manor in Crestview, Florida. Anna was born on May 3, 1932 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Oluf and Elva Johnson. She was raised in Osseo, Wisconsin with her three sisters, Karen Sieg, Carlee Johnson and Marion Zimmerman. She completed her education and joined the US Army in 1951 and was stationed in Shape Headquarters in Paris, France. She worked as a telephone operator for Mrs. Eisenhower. She later met the love of her life, PFC Lewie Adams and they were married September 4, 1952 in the American Church in Paris. They would eventually return to the states and raise three children Sher, Ralph and Brad.
Anna worked for civil service at Eglin AFB and Fort Rucker for over 20 years as a Supervisor in Finance, Accounting and Payroll. Anna spent time enjoying sewing, baking (chocolate sheet cake) and shopping. She was devoted to her family and faith.
Left to honor her memory are daughter Sher Cox (Greg), Ralph Adams (Dee) and Brad Adams (Kathy), grandchildren
Joshua Jennings, Brandi Sapp, Nicole Riedel, Eric Bergen and Hannah Crews and her great-grandchildren James Sapp, Dakota Riedel, Cheyenne Riedel, Madison Jennings, Joshua Jennings, Jr,, Hudson Sapp, Elliott Bergen and Lydia Bergen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Evans Funeral Home followed by military honors at Chapel Hill Church. Visitation will be a hour before services.
