Dec 13, 1927 — Oct 5, 2021
Alvie Coy Radney, a long-time resident of Florala, Alabama, passed away October 5, 2021 at the
age of 93 in his home surrounded by his loving and devoted wife and family.
He was born December 13, 1927. He was married to his wife Mary Ellen for 35 wonderful years.
Alvie was the son of the late Eugene McDonald "Mack" Radney and Lula Jane (Geohagan)

and standards were always set high. Alvie demonstrated these values everyday with all that he
did. He was known for hauling dirt, planting pines, building septic tanks and many other various
businesses, all the while instilling these values in his children and grandchildren. Family was
most important to Alvie, and he longed and loved every moment he was able to spend with them.
With his profession of his acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, he has now gained a
new family and will forever live in a place where peace is everlasting, joy is never ending and
sorrow, sickness and pain will be no more.
