Allen Cassady, age 59, passed away Thursday June 10, 2021, He was born August 3, 1961 in Florala the son of Willis Cassady Sr and Betty Hinson Cassady. Allen worked in the timber industry until ill health forced his retirement. Allen lived life to the fullest whether fishing, hunting or just doing crossword puzzles. He was always known for preferring hugs over handshakes. He didn't meet strangers, he met new best friends. Allen was an enemy to no one and a friend/brother to everyone. He will be dearly missed by his love ones who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by father, Willis Cassady; mother, Betty Hinson Cassady; brothers Willis Cassady Jr and Billy Cassady; sister, Debra Hartline Howard.

He is survived by sons, Brett Cassady and Matthew Cassady, brothers, Josh Cassady and wife Joanne and Kevin Cassady and wife Susan, brother-in-law, Frankie Howard and sister-in-law, Samatha Cassady. He is also survived by an abundance of extended love ones including numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Allen Cassady will be 11AM Saturday June 12, 2021 at Evans Funeral Home with Chris Davenport and Dennis Sims officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour before services. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
