Aaron Dale Barnes, 77, of Laurel Hill, FL, passed away on August 1, 2022 at home with his wife, after a hard-fought battle with illness.

Aaron was born on October 7, 1944, in Okaloosa County, FL, as the youngest child of Argle and Wylene Barnes.

Aaron retired from Louisiana Pacific where he made friends and earned the respect of so many of his peers.  As a favorite hobby, you would find him working on his beehives. An equal passion of Aaron's was family time. Everyone Aaron knew will greatly cherish his impact on their lives, either through love, friendship, mentorship, or his humor.

Aaron was preceded in death by his mother, Wylene, his father, Argle and his daughter Kim.  He is survived by his wife, Bobbie, his daughter's Angie [Greg] Presley of Laurel Hill, FL, Melissa [Steve] Wall of Baker, FL, Candace [Brian] Bailey of Marion, KY, son's, Terry Barnes of DeFuniak Springs, FL, Dan Mock of D'Iberville MS, sister, Jean Presley of Florala, AL, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on August 4, 2022 at 2 PM with funeral services to follow at 3 PM at Evans Funeral Home in Florala, AL with Jack Day officiating. Interment will be at Yellow River Baptist Church Cemetery.
