Cecil Geohagan

Cecil Geohagan age 86 of 8144 4th Street in Laurel Hill, Fl died in a Florala health care facility on May 15, 2013. He was born February 26, 1927 in Covington County to Henry Clayton and Clemmie Farmer Geohagan. Cecil was a active member of the First Baptist Church in Laurel Hill. He loved to play country music and enjoyed tending his garden and delighted in sharing his home grown vegetables with his community. Cecil was an avid fisherman and spent hundreds of hours in the lakes and ponds of Walton County and south Alabama. His biggest legacy, however is the immeasurable mark he left on his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Known to them as Cecil, Daddy and Granddaddy, he will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. Cecil was preceded in death by father, Henry Clayton Geohagan; mother, Clemmie Farmer Geohagan; brother, Clinton Geohagan and a great grandchild.

He is survived by his wife Hilda Patterson Geohagan of Laurel Hill, sons, Steve Geohagan and Gary Geohagan of Laurel Hill, Keith Roach of Jacksonville, Fl, Craig Geohagan of Ft Walton Beach, daughter, Sylvia Tribble of Ft Walton Beach, brother, Curtis Geohagan of DeFuniak Springs, sisters, Nell Culverhouse of Opp, Cleo Worley of Crestview, Carolyn Croxton of Ft Walton Beach, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Wesley Cecil Geohagan will be 2PM Saturday May 18, 2013 from Evans Funeral Home with Mike McVay and Milner Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8PM Friday at Evans Funeral Home.
